About

I believe every frame should carry the weight of the story. My approach to cinematography is rooted in a career that has taken me from the high-stakes world of global documentary—shooting for The New York Times, Vice, and The Wall Street Journal—to the carefully crafted aesthetics of narrative feature films.

Whether it’s the "handsome and well-shot" textures of Miller’s Girl (Variety) or the "lovely outdoor photography" of Adam the First (Film Obsessive), my goal is to create a visual language that feels both intentional and atmospheric. My technical foundation as a DIT and my experience in the fast-paced world of high-end unscripted series like Trixie Motel and Red Table Talk have given me a unique perspective: the ability to be technically precise while remaining emotionally reactive to the performance on screen.

Based in Los Angeles but at home anywhere, I am dedicated to the art of the camera—not just as a tool, but as a conduit for empathy and storytelling. When I’m not on set, I’m often sharing my passion for visual fundamentals with the next generation of filmmakers through mentorship and education.
